Frequently Asked Questions

  • Intake Evaluations cost $300 (60-90 minutes)

Individual sessions are $285 per 50 minute session.

  • I offer only virtual sessions. I find these allow you to feel more safe in sessions and access telehealth anywhere in Maryland.

  • I am not paneled with insurance plans, but can offer you what's called "out-of-network" (OON) benefits. I'm happy to provide you with a receipt for our sessions that you can submit them for reimbursement. Not everyone has this as part of their benefits package, so please call your healthcare plan and ask these questions:

    Do I have out-of-network benefits?
What percentage of my therapist's fee does my plan pay for?

  • The frequency and duration of therapy varies for each person. In general, I find it most helpful to start out by meeting weekly at first.

  • This varies, feel free to reach out and see if I have openings. When I have slots available they are on weekdays during the day.

  • These are 15-20 minute calls to make sure we are a good fit for each other and to answer any questions you have and to schedule a first session, if you’re ready!

  • This will vary weekly, but generally you can expect a mix of processing/talking through stressors, learning skills or tools that I think could help you, or practicing deep breathing or grounding skills together.

  • I use a mix of EMDR (for trauma), IFS (Internal Family Systems) and CBT or Schema Therapy (for rewiring thought patterns). I’m also a big fan of practicing coping skills, like mindfulness, grounding and deep breathing.
