I offer individual therapy for women focusing on empowerment and self-assurance. My approach includes techniques from Cognitive-behavioral therapy, Acceptance Commitment therapy and somatic and trauma therapies, like EMDR, IFS and Polyvagal Theory, tailored to meet your unique needs. I also provide Clinical Supervision for mental health therapists.

Each therapy session is typically 50-55 minutes long. This timeframe allows us to dive deep into your concerns while ensuring we have enough time to explore unconscious behaviors or patterns, process and discuss takeaways or practice.

I start meeting with clients weekly, so we can dig in and build our relationship faster. After you grow and make progress, the frequency of our sessions could change depending on your unique needs and goals. I have some clients who meet with me for 9 months and I have some who work with me for 4+ years.
There’s no right or wrong amount of time to be in therapy and sometimes I am with folks for a season or around a specific issue and sometimes we continue for a long time going in and out of deeper issues. Being an out-of-network provider means we don’t have to worry about diagnoses or having a maximum number of sessions.

I am an out of network with all insurance providers. Check out your insurance plan, because you might have out-of-network benefits. I can provide a superbill or receipt for you to submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement. It's recommended that you contact your insurance company to understand your coverage for therapy services.
I use a service called Thrizer that helps clients get reimbursed with their out of network benefits.
I like the info on this page for using out-of-network benefits: https://mhcounselinggroup.com/mhc-mental-health-therapy-blog/how-to-use-out-of-network-benefits-for-therapy-a-simple-guide

In the initial evaluation process we will identify areas you want to work on and your goals, as well as, take an assessment of your holistic wellness needs.
In a typical session, I will ask you to identify what you want to work on that day. I will ask questions and can give guidance if desired. I always end sessions by asking your takeaways. If you look triggered or get upset in session, I like to check in and offer regulating techniques to support you.
I like being a little silly, being able to laugh together and get serious when needed. I’m the therapist who is going to challenge you, either with a tough question, to dig a little deeper in a subject you might be glossing over or recommend a technique or activity to practice on your own. But, I’m going to be really gentle and loving about it. I pull from many therapy types for what fits the situation and I offer practicing techniques in session. I also have a great referral network of psychiatrists, doctors and holistic providers that I may offer to make sure we are caring for you holistically.
I hope by working together I can offer a unique perspective on loving and accepting yourself more, feeling more confident in your place in the world and not letting others’ opinions matter so much or define you.
